{"id":292,"date":"2011-06-06T23:34:31","date_gmt":"2011-06-06T23:34:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/?p=292"},"modified":"2011-06-06T23:38:32","modified_gmt":"2011-06-06T23:38:32","slug":"refrigerator-potato-rolls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/recipes\/refrigerator-potato-rolls","title":{"rendered":"Refrigerator Potato Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/rolls.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-293\" title=\"rolls\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/rolls-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/rolls-300x250.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.chefsjoy.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/rolls.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I just put the dough for refrigerator potato rolls in the refrigerator to rise.\u00a0 These are easy and flexible dinner rolls and the dough can be made in advance and kept in the refrigerator for 1-3 days.\u00a0 Try putting some in the fridge today!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup warm mashed potatoes<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups warm water 105-115F<\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0packages active dry yeast<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp salt<\/p>\n<p>2 eggs<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup butter softened<\/p>\n<p>6 1\/2 cups all purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>melted butter or 1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons water<\/p>\n<p>poppy seeds, sesame seeds optional<\/p>\n<p>Prepare mashed potatoes for 1\/2 cup.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a large bowl place 1 1\/2 cups of warm water that is at 105 to 115F.\u00a0 Water that is too hot will kill the yeast, too cold will slow down the yeast action and cause the rolls not to be as light.\u00a0 Sprinkle the yeast over the water.
